The PQRSwizard is a fast, convenient and cost- effective online tool to help collect and report quality measure data for the CMS PQRS (Physician Quality Reporting System) incentive payment program. Similar to online tax preparation software, the PQRSwizard guides you through a few easy steps to rapidly collect, validate, report and submit the results to CMS for payment. Th e PQRSwizard is powered by the CECity Registry®, a CMS-qualifi ed registry for PQRS reporting.

With millions of patient records, the PINNACLE Registry® is cardiology's largest outpatient quality improvement registry. As part of the NCDR® suite of clinical registries, the PINNACLE Registry gives clinicians the credible quality measurement solutions needed to survive in today’s demanding health care environment. The registry provides a centralized system for clinical practices to promote practice innovations and achieve clinical excellence.

FOCUS is a national quality improvement initiative designed to help cardiovascular professionals best use Appropriate Use Criteria (AUC) and ultimately reduce inappropriate imaging. The Community is working on best practices in implementing AUC for CT, Stress and Resting Echo and RNI. The program resources are free and include open access to an e-mail listserv to exchange ideas; interactive Webinars; tools to help measure and document improvement; and resources and applications to optimize AUC use.

H2H is a national quality improvement initiative, organized by the ACC and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), with the goal of improving care transitions and reducing unnecessary hospital readmissions for patients with cardiovascular disease.

D2B | Door-to-Balloon: An Alliance for Quality

In an effort to improve the timeliness of primary PCI, the D2B Alliance campaign was launched by the ACC in collaboration with numerous other organizations. The goal is to increase the percentage of patients who receive timely primary PCI, with an emphasis on having at least 75% of patients treated within 90 minutes of presentation at the hospital.
