The California Heart Rhythm Symposium aims to bring together leaders in the field of cardiac arrhythmia management and provide a forum for presentation and discussion of the latest practices and advances in this medical subspecialty. The meeting will highlight standard methods for the evaluation and treatment of cardiac rhythm disorders, including syncope, atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia and sudden cardiac arrest as well as new advances in their treatment. The conference will target clinical researchers in the field of cardiac electrophysiology, clinical cardiologists, electrophysiologists (both academic and private), and nurses, technicians, and allied industry professionals working in the EP clinic and/or EP laboratory. Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of the activity an attendee will be able to:

  • Apply new knowledge to diagnose and treat device detected atrial fibrillation,
  • Improve management of coronary heart disease, hypertension, lipid disorders, diabetes, systolic and diastolic heart failure, atrial fibrillation and/or flutter using strategies from the course
  • Improve management of coronary heart disease, hypertension, lipid disorders, diabetes, systolic and diastolic heart failure, atrial fibrillation and flutter, STEMI and non-STEMI, thromboembolic disease using strategies from the course
  • Apply in practice the latest treatment guidelines and recommendations for patients with vasovagal syncope,
  • Apply recommendations for how to approach patients after cardiac arrest
  • Revise my use of the latest treatment guidelines and recommendations for patients with vasovagal syncope,
  • Take additional steps in practice to further optimize management of cardiac amyloidosis
